Biography - "I look forward to getting to know each person’s story, helping them see themselves in new ways, and working together on active change and transformation."

I look forward to getting to know each person’s story, helping them see themselves in new ways, and working together on active change and transformation. I put a special emphasis on building a strong, warm and caring therapeutic relationship with every client and creating an individualized treatment experience based on each person’s unique needs. I believe in the ability we all have to heal, to achieve more balanced, healthy and happy lives and to reclaim our authentic selves. With over 25 years of experience working in the field of mental health, I have worked with individuals, couples, families, groups, and children in a variety of outpatient settings. I have a passion for working in the areas of trauma/PTSD, eating disorders, and adoption and attachment issues, as well as depression, anxiety and life transition issues. I have completed Level 2 training in EMDR as well as many advanced EMDR trainings for complex issues and have over 10 years of experience using this as a modality of healing. I also have extensive training in mindfulness, somatic practices and ego state therapies as well as being a trained Reiki Master practitioner.
