Biography – “I am passionate about meeting the client where they are and staying with them while they strive to find their way through life’s challenges.”
I have been working with children, adults, families, and groups for over fifteen years.
After graduating from the University of Minnesota, I served in the Peace Corps before returning to St. Catherine’s University for my graduate degree in Social Work. I am experienced and flexible in working with a variety of issues and problems, with additional training in Autism Spectrum Disorders, Trauma, and Dissociative Disorders, including Dissociative Identity Disorder.
My main areas of work include Mood Disorders, PTSD, Autism, and Trauma, as well as the issues that often are associated with these, such as anxiety and depression.
I am one of few therapists in Minnesota who is able to help children on the Autism Spectrum who also have a history of trauma or abuse, such as bullying.
I am very passionate about meeting the client where they are and staying with them while they strive to find their way through life’s challenges.
I am available for home visits, parent trainings, and am comfortable with coordinating with school staff, such as IEP meetings.
