Biography - "My focus is on you and how I can help to bridge the gap between your challenges and your peace..."
I am a Mental Health Practitioner with a Master of Arts degree from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota. I am passionate about helping my clients find peace while navigating any life situation. Knowing each client on an individual basis and learning about their life story is something I value deeply.
My focus is on you and how I can help to bridge the gap between your challenges and your peace, while we utilize therapy for your healing. I believe in developing strong relationships with my clients by building trust and creating a safe place for them to share their experiences and emotions.
I specialize in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy; helping you to heal from distressing life experiences. My approach is holistic, focusing on working collaboratively with the mind and body to help the healing process. Additionally, I practice narrative, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral therapy.
I chose to become a Mental Health Therapist because I believe everyone has an inner knowing of what they need to heal, and to recognize the strengths and coping skills that lie within each of us. I enjoy sharing the journey with my clients and being of support during the healing process.
