With over 30 years of experience working in the field of mental health and chemical dependency, I am a person-centered therapist. I enjoy helping my clients in an atmosphere of respect and autonomy, while assisting them in defining and achieving their goals. Change can be difficult and takes courage. I am committed to helping my clients reach their goals and make positive changes in their lives. My areas of experience include working with: adults, adolescents, substance use disorders, stress, anxiety, addictions, relationship issues, grief, bipolar disorder, thought disorders, self-esteem, and coping with life changes. I have presented trainings addressing co-occurring disorders, cognitive disabilities, building resiliency, and trauma-informed services at International, National, and State conferences. While earning my Master’s Degree, I worked full-time as a Chemical Dependency Counselor at Turning Point Treatment Center. I completed my diagnostic assessment practicum at Boston Health Care Services, working with individuals with developmental disabilities, and I completed a therapy practicum at University of Wisconsin River Falls Counseling Center.
