My specialty area is working with individuals suffering from mental health issues and chronic, advanced stage alcohol and drug dependency. I also have extensive experience working with individuals, couples, and families who are dealing with co-occurring disorders, personality disorders, complex trauma, and psychosis.
I serve as an adjunct professor at St. Mary’s University in the school of counseling psychology, and I am an approved supervisor for the Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health. I have also lectured across the United States on numerous occasions over the past 15 years. Additionally, I am in my fifth year of psychoanalytic training at the Minnesota Psychoanalytic Society and Institute.
