Biography - "The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.  -Nelson Mandela"

I hold the conviction that life's obstacles are both unavoidable and commonplace.  At times, we require guidance and aid to navigate these periods, discovering the triumph in emerging from them more resilient.  I believe that therapy is the way to get the guidance and support needed to navigate these times, opening us up to more satisfying relationships at home, work, and in social situations.

I possess a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of St. Thomas and am currently on the path to obtaining my licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).  I enjoy working with adults, individuals, and couples, experiencing struggles with trauma/PTSD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, divorce, grief and loss, suicidality, LGBTQIA, gender & identity, crisis intervention, and persons with a background in law enforcement/corrections/military/veterans.  My extensive background includes providing mental health training and support to law enforcement personnel, correctional staff within jails and prisons, dispatch operators, emergency service providers, and their respective families.  I understand the impact of trauma and how it affects the mind, body, and relationships.

These words from Nelson Mandela are a guiding principle in my work, "The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall."
